1. Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address and authentication details; saved business and contact details; the food-process information in your HACCP requests; credit and transaction records; generated document records; and technical information needed to keep the service secure and working.
2. How we use information
We use this information to create and manage your account, save your reusable business profile, process HACCP requests, generate and deliver PDFs, manage credits and payments, prevent misuse, maintain security and respond to support enquiries.
3. Business-detail snapshots
When you submit a request, the business details used are copied into that request as a historical snapshot. Updating your profile later does not alter the information attached to an earlier request.
4. Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate the service. These include Supabase for authentication, database and private file storage; Stripe for payment processing; Make.com for workflow automation; and Google Drive for the owner’s operational archive. Providers process information only as needed for their role and under their own security commitments.
5. Payments
We do not place full payment-card details in the HACCP Flowchart application. Stripe processes payment information and returns the transaction information needed to add credits and maintain payment records.
6. Storage and security
Customer PDFs are stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket. Access is controlled through authenticated requests and ownership rules. We use server-side functions for trusted operations and do not expose privileged service credentials in the browser.
7. Retention
We retain account, request, document and transaction information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accurate records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Deleting a customer PDF from the dashboard does not delete the owner’s operational archive.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, and to object or complain. You can update business details in your account and contact us to make a privacy request.
9. Cookies and authentication
The service uses essential browser storage and authentication data to keep you signed in and protect account access. We do not use these essential technologies for unrelated advertising.
10. Contact and updates
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available on this page. Use the Food-Safety.app contact page for privacy questions or requests.
